GM coach TGH 2708

I have a 1950 GM TGH 2708, vin# TGH2708210
Am trying to find out what size gas motor this bus came out of the factory with. It's got a v8 gas motor in it, but I was told by the person I bought the bus from that it was a diesel conversion. However, after receiving the title and researching the model, I see that the TGH 2708 was a factory gas coach. The person I purchased the bus from bought some property from an old man in Oregon 20yrs ago, this bus was on the property and was deeded to him by the old man. He really has no idea about the history of the bus and the old mans dead and obviously aint talking. Any help would be greatly appreciated, it's a cool old bus and in surprisingly great cond., having set in the woods for so long, I'd like to know a little more about it.
