Hi everyone, Im new to the forums and noticed there wasn't a section for ACF so Im posting here. Mods please move this thread if its not in the proper place.

Anyway, I am considering becoming the owner of a 1947 ACF Brill bus with a flat 12 cylinder engine newly rebuilt. However the bus has been sitting for 5 years with only 5,000 miles on the newly rebuilt motor. The batteries will most certainly be dead and unrecoverable. I am wondering what type of voltage system this bus has be it 12v or 6v considering its age. Also what type of batteries would a bus of this type require. With such a large engine I can only image a large amount of CCA. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
